This week’s short story “Bartleby, the Scrivener” by Herman Melville was of special interest to me which is why I would like to go deeper about the content of this story. Melville has started this story with the readers getting to know about the elderly lawyer who is also the narrator of this story revealing about his two scriveners and the problems that they create. The story, however, is about a man called Bartleby who gets hired by the narrator with a hope to make his business better.
